Giorgio Armani always uses his Emporio Armani shows as an opportunity to experiment with the modern menswear codes he’s been so active in establishing. Last season the designer put out a leather and velvet coat parade, elongating lengths and topping looks with fedoras to create a set of urban pioneers. This time around Armani appears to be bringing things north again, based on our exclusive sketch above, and making the case for tailored shorts with a sports jacket - one we’re assuming will feature his signature soft shoulder.
