First Look: Taka Hayashi for Vault by VANS x Billykirk Capsule Collection

The GQ Eye’s Sean Hotchkiss has the scoop: VANS’ Taka Hayashi and the Bray brothers from Billykirk have gotten together on a killer three piece capsule collection that’s going to be available in early December. The two shoes: the dressier Vans Derby TH LX, and the park-ready Sk8-Hi TH LX, both feature classic VANS outsoles (crepe and gum, respectively) with artisan-feeling leather uppers. We’re really into backpacks right now, and this one is special. Futuristic sportswear favorite ISAORA has teamed with Japanese brand Porter to design a bag that mimics the “Poirer Pack,” an 1882 design that many believe was the blueprint for the backpack as we know it today.
