With archive pieces dating back to the 1930’s, Belstaff has a pretty deep well in terms of inspiration. The earliest Belstaff jackets were the go-to item for motorcyclists who wanted to keep away the elements and road rash, and the company has continued on with its deep rooted motor sports heritage.
Belstaff continues with their fall 2013 collection as the masters of motorcycle chic. Black dominates the color palette with splashes of brown and midnight blue. With the prevalence of cargo pockets and slim silhouettes, many of these pieces still demonstrate the DNA of Belstaff’s legendary Trialmaster, the jacket that started it all.
Belstaff, the brand commonly known as the go-to for waxed riding jackets, is getting a luxe overhaul starting this Fall, evolving from outerwear to a full-blown line of RTW goods (think classic Belstaff silhouettes rendered in pebble grain leather and exotic skins).
