The “season for boots” is over, hombre, but the time is ripe to get your boat shoe game on. We suggest a pair with some punch, like this spread from our April issue. Snag a multi-colored, neon-soled pair with rope laces—anything that’s not brown. If the pair would freak out someone with a country-club membership, then you are doing something right. But if you’re really set on boots, you can’t go wrong with a classic pair of suede desert boots from Clarks. That said, shitkicker season will be here soon—keep an eye out for the white-soled variety.
