Classic Prep Gets a Modern Makeover: J.Press York Street
The hundred-year-old go-to shop for repp-tie-wearing geezers, J.Press, is considered classic by some and fusty by others. Now the brand has tapped Ovadia & Sons to design a younger, cooler line called York Street.

Ariel and Shimon Ovadia have been more than hitting their stride lately, pumping out winning collections for their Ovadia & Sons main line as well as gearing up for the highly anticipated launch of their J.Press York Street collection. The GQ Best New Menswear in America designers are giving us an exclusive first peek at their SS’13 lineup, which appears to build off their expertise in tailoring while amping up the playful side of things.
