The Academy Awards is the Super Bowl of red carpets. This year, GQ’s fashion team offers some suggestions for all of the male acting nominees to make sure they don’t fumble on the big day. Here’s what we came up with for Brad Pitt:

#9: Joel McHale: During the actual awards show, the Community star and The Soup host McHale was part of a sad recurring gag that found him in a sextet of singers called the Emmytones. That sort of thing is beneath McHale. But before the show, in a slim (too slim?) Michael Bastian tuxedo jacket, he looked like he could have been hosting the actual show. Not a bad 2012 thought.
