GQ Selects: Ray-Ban Pilot Icon Folding Aviators
Ray-Ban has put a new spin on their iconic aviator, thanks to hinges that allow the shades to fold up into the size of a single lens. However, this pair still holds true to the hallmarks of the classic we love, like brown gradient lenses and leather accents on the brow and temple. It’s a reinvented classic that continues to conjure up images of McQueen and Newman in their heydays.

Coming Soon: Oliver Peoples x Parabellum

The eyewear masters at Oliver Peoples have teamed up with the small batch experts at Parabellum to create a limited edition capsule of shades, encased in Parabellum’s hand-made bison leather case. The polarized sunglasses (in Peoples’ Linford frame) walk the line between rugged and refined, rendered in black matte or tortoise acetate, the latter with rose gold accents.

Editor’s Pick: Dasha for Illesteva Sunglasses
Celeb-friendly sunglass purveyor Illesteva has teamed with Russian model-turned-philanthropist Dasha Zhukova on two models of tortoise-shell sunglasses in an iconic shape. Each frame will be produced in only 100 pairs of tortoise, and light tortoise, that are handmade in France. The winning bit? A portion of the proceeds from sales of the shades will go to Restoring Vision, which provides glasses to people in need all over the world. Check out more pics and where to get them, here.
